For attributions, copyright and further information see the Gordon Chapel Website at : www.gordonchapel.org.uk

Photographs taken by Jeff Lowndes unless otherwise indicated

From an old architects drawing - the chapel was not constructed exactly like this - see later photographs

Photograph taken by ScotAvia Images in March 2011 it shows the Chapel after the main repair work has been completed (see the pages dealing with the 'works' and by'pass'). The conservatory and some work in the garden area has yet to be completed and the stained glass windows will be returned in 2012.

An old postcard showing Gordon Chapel and the houses in Duke St - note the railings and trees in front of the chapel.

Fochabers showing the church spires from the left of:- St Mary's, Bellie Kirk, Pringle, Gordon Chapel

Taken from the hill above Christie's Garden Centre in Fochabers, Gordon Chapel sits at the edge of the village with the Gordon Castle Estate behind it and now the new by-pass.

Gordon Chapel is normally open every day during daylight hours
so that you may come inside for prayer, meditation and quiet reflection.

Revd Frances Forshaw - Mission Priest Gordon Chapel

Jeff Lowndes - Diocesan Reader, based at Gordon Chapel

Experimental photographs taken on 22 Feb 12 just prior to the Ash Wednesday Evening Service so I was able to take advantage of the lights being on. It would have been better to have taken the images a little earlier so that the building could be seen better but I will do this again shortly.
